CTOnews.com, December 15, UBS (UBS) analysts said that the supply of iPhone 14 Pro models has eased, but still can not meet the market demand in the short term. UBS believes that the slowdown in production of the iPhone 14 Pro will continue to affect Apple's earnings in 2023, but will recover by 2024.

IPhone shipments are expected to fall 5 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2022 and 3 per cent in fiscal year 2023, UBS said in the memo. At present, the supply of all models of the iPhone has improved and the waiting time has been shortened, but the tight supply will continue until 2023.

UBS, which had expected to sell about 83 million iPhone units in the fourth quarter of this year, has cut it to 79 million, a drop of 5 per cent, CTOnews.com has learned. Due to the continued extension of delivery time, sales in the first quarter of next year were also reduced to 58 million units.

UBS expects Apple to ship 232m iPhone units in 2023, rather than the expected 239 million, a drop of 7 million. However, analysts maintained their expectations of 239m units in 2024.
