(hereinafter referred to as "Ningde Times") signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Chery holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chery Group").

According to the agreement, Ningde Times and Chery Group will carry out all-round cooperation in the fields of products, commerce, marketing, commercial information resources and so on. In addition to passenger car battery supply and technical cooperation, the two sides will also jointly explore public transport, new energy three-power integration and power exchange in the fields of buses, logistics vehicles, heavy trucks and electric ships, so as to promote and lead the high-quality development of the industry.

The signing marks the formal launch of comprehensive strategic cooperation between Ningde Times and Chery Group, and the two sides will make full use of their respective advantageous resources to jointly develop new energy vehicle markets at home and abroad. The conclusion of this deepening cooperation will help to enhance the market competitiveness of both sides, promote the sustainable development of the new energy industry and the popularization of electric vehicles, and jointly help achieve the goal of global carbon neutralization.

CTOnews.com learned that recently, Chery holding Group Co., Ltd. has undergone industrial and commercial changes, and shareholders have added Ningbo Meishan bonded Port area Mengding Investment Co., Ltd., with a stake of about 3.73%, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.

Ningde Times and Chery have already worked together before, and on June 21, Yibin Times Kaiyi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was registered and founded by Ningde Times and Kaiyi Automobile, with a shareholding of 51% and 49%, respectively. Kaiyi Automobile is a state-owned joint-stock enterprise controlled by Yibin Automobile Industry Development and Investment Co., Ltd., Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Yibin Pushi Group Co., Ltd. Among them, Chery Motor holds nearly 48% of the shares, making it the second largest shareholder.

In addition, Ningde Times also signed a memorandum of cooperation with Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd. in Ningde, Fujian Province today. The two sides will actively discuss Huawei's smart car selection project to achieve complementary advantages and win-win cooperation. Huawei Terminal will recommend Ningde Times as the first preferred partner of Huawei Smart car partner for car power batteries. Ningde era will provide Huawei smart car selection project with high-quality car power battery products with market competitiveness to support Huawei smart car selection products to face the market more quickly and fully guarantee the innovation and leadership of Huawei smart car selection products.
