CTOnews.com December 14 news, in this afternoon's OPPO Future Technology Conference 2022, OPPO officially released its second self-developed chip-MariSilicon Y, positioning flagship Bluetooth new SoC.

According to introduction, Mariana Y chip wirelessizes 192kHz / 24bit lossless audio for the first time, equipped with the world's first ultra-high-speed Bluetooth technology, the highest bandwidth can reach 12Mbps, 4 times the traditional Bluetooth rate, 1.5 times the flagship platform Bluetooth rate.

CTOnews.com learned that Mariana Y uses N6RF process, which is two generations ahead of the 16nm process currently used in mainstream RF chips, helping RF transistor efficiency increase by 66% while reducing RF transistor size by 33%. The end-side dedicated NPU can bring 590 billion calculations per second, bringing users the first sound separation technology on the earphone side, which can realize "universal panoramic sound" similar to spatial audio.

Mariana Y also supports dynamic bit rate adaptation technology, which can automatically adjust the codec rate flexibly within the ultra-wide range of 80Kbps-10Mbps, providing stable and non-stuttering audio quality regardless of whether it is in a shopping mall with complex signals or a quiet study.

We can expect the Mariana Y chip to be installed on the new OPPO headphones.
