CTOnews.com Microsoft is inviting more users to test out Automatic Color Management (ACM) features. Microsoft recently released Win11 Build 25262 version update, has invited some Dev channel users to test. This article describes how to enable this new feature on Win11 via Vivetool tool.

Automatic color management is a feature unique to Win11 and can be enabled in Settings> System> Display> Advanced Display Settings. This feature provides system-wide color management to ensure consistent and accurate colors across supported devices. Switch to automatic color management, which can provide extra detail and reduce shadow or gradient image artifacts.

Displays with 10-16 bit color accuracy work best when enabled, while traditional 8-bit displays can also improve when enabled.

CTOnews.com understands that Microsoft wants to give more users access to automatic color management. Microsoft calls these IDs AutoColorManagement_WideRollout_OnByDefault and AutoColorManagement_WideRollout. The word "WideRollout" indicates that Microsoft wants to promote this feature further.
