CTOnews.com, December 14 (Xinhua)-- PNY is expected to launch two RTX 4070 Ti non-public graphics cards in the near future: RTX 4070 Ti XLR8 VERTO and VERTO GPU, with the same specifications as the "not yet available" RTX 4080 12GB.

According to the information available so far, the RTX 4070 Ti non-public graphics card is equipped with 7680 CUDA cores and 12GB GDDR6X memory. In addition, the clock speed of the GPU is 2310lap2610 MHz (base / lift). This means that the specification is the same as the cancelled RTX 4080 12GB model.

This further confirms that Nvidia has not made any changes to the specifications of the upcoming RTX 4070 Ti SKU. This is indeed a renamed RTX 4080 12GB graphics card, but it was cancelled by Nvidia when it was announced two months ago.

CTOnews.com learned that the RTX 4070 Ti XLR8 VERTO is positioned at the high end and has a radiator similar to the RTX 4080 16GB. But both are three-fan designs, but the latter lacks RGB lighting and is 3 slots thick, which is thinner than the RTX 4080 16GB.

One of the rendered images shows the new PCB for AD104-based RTX 4070Ti. We can clearly see a 12VHPWR connector, GPU, and memory modules around it (six should be occupied by GDDR6X memory). PCB is more compact than RTX 4080 16GB, has much less VRM, and is only on one side of GPU.

It is rumored that Nvidia will launch the RTX 4070 Ti GPU on January 5, but the exact price information is not clear.
