CTOnews.com December 13 news, OPPO previously announced that the second self-developed chip will be officially released at the Future Science and Technology Conference 2022 (OPPO INNO DAY 2022) on December 14.

Before the release, OPPO Indian officials have announced the name and use of the chip overseas, the chip is called MariSilicon Y, according to the previous MariSilicon X naming method, the domestic name is expected to be "Mariana Y", used to improve the sound quality of Bluetooth headsets.

As can be seen from the video, the chip supports 24-bit/192kHz ultra-high quality lossless audio, the maximum bandwidth can be up to 12Mbps, AI computing can reach 590GOPS, support local Music Extraction technology, personalized spatial audio, using TSMC N6RF technology, can be embedded in Bluetooth headset.

CTOnews.com learned that as early as 2019, OPPO announced that it would invest 50 billion yuan in cutting-edge technology research and development over three years, and put forward the 3+N+X technology transition strategy in 2020, where 3 represent the three core technologies of OPPO-Mariana, Pantana, and Andes, respectively, corresponding to OPPO's chip business, software engineering and cloud services.
