Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Des1re for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com December 13 news, according to Hong Kong and China gas news, November 29, sponsored by Hong Kong and China Group famous home "Hong Kong and China core and ecological cooperation conference" successfully held in Suzhou Hong Kong and China Building. Representatives of famous strategic partners Saifang Technology, Weiwu Technology, Xinsheng Technology, Aiqi Technology, Ziguang Zhanrui, Mobile Communication, China Telecom and China Mobile participated online and offline.

At present, China's smart gas meter market is in the stage of replacing IC card smart gas meter with Internet of Things smart gas meter. Because the Internet of Things has the characteristics of multiple network levels, sea quantization and fragmentation of devices, its security challenges are more complex than those of the traditional Internet. Most IoT gas meters do not use security encryption technology or software encryption methods with very low security levels, which are insufficient to meet their own security requirements and national regulations.

According to introduction,"Hong Kong Huaxin" is a security chip jointly developed by Mingjia, Saifang Technology and Micro-Five Technology, and it is also the first RISC-V Internet of Things security chip in the industry. It adopts RISC-V processor IP, hardware foundation and solution of Micro-Five Technology chip, as well as Mingjia security protocol and platform specification, which constitute the three core elements of "Hong Kong Huaxin."

"Hong Kong Huaxin" has reached the national secret level II security standard, supports SM1/2/4/9 and other national secret and international encryption algorithms, can defend against physical cracking and side channel attacks and has the advantages of ultra-low power consumption.

Through the built-in "Ganghua Core" security chip, the intelligent gas meter can realize two-way authentication with Ganghua Internet of Things platform, secure storage of keys and data, encrypted transmission of key data, etc. to ensure data security communication. Through the unified management of keys and the encryption and decryption of data, the Hong Kong-China Internet of Things platform jointly constructs a complete security protection system among the terminal layer, network layer and platform layer, providing a key guarantee for the security transformation of gas meters in China.

CTOnews.com understands that as early as the end of October,"Ganghua Core" has been successfully applied to smart gas meters and officially hung in the homes of Hangzhou Ganghua users.
