In November 2022, Douyin and overseas versions of TikTok attracted more than US $292 million in global App Store and Google Play, an increase of 10.1% over the same period last year, ranking first in global mobile app (non-gaming) revenue.

Of this, about 42.9% of the revenue comes from the Chinese version of Douyin, while the US market ranks second with 20.7% of the revenue, and the German market ranks third with 3.7%.

In addition, YouTube ranked second with revenue of more than $128 million, up 26.1% from a year earlier, followed by Disney+ ($120 million), Google One and Tinder.

It is reported that in November 2022, users around the world paid $3.97 billion on App Store and Google Play mobile apps (non-games), an increase of 6.6 per cent year-on-year.

CTOnews.com learned that the United States remains the world's highest-revenue market for mobile applications, contributing $1.5 billion, or 37.9 percent of global revenue. China's iOS market ranks second, accounting for 15.4%, while Japan's market ranks third, accounting for 9.9%.
