CTOnews.com December 12, Apple CEO Tim Cook and senior vice president of marketing Greg Joswiak went to Kumamoto Prefectural University in Japan to visit students and landmarks.

Cook and other executives often travel to different countries for public relations visits to strengthen Apple's commitment to a project or company. The recent trip to Japan marks Cook's second major overseas visit since the start of the pandemic.

Apple Cook said, "it's a pleasure to come back to Japan to visit the historic city of Kumamoto and learn about their work to restore this incredible landmark."

Greg Joswiak, senior vice president of marketing at Apple, also went to visit Kumamoto Prefectural University. He emphasized how students use Apple products to create applications.

Greg Joswiak says programming opens the door to new opportunities. Seeing how young developers at Kumamoto Prefecture University use Apple technology to create services and applications that support their communities bodes well for many good things to come!

CTOnews.com learned that Apple Cook had previously visited the UK and various parts of Europe. He spoke in various interviews and attended different events.
