Digital RMB is a digital legal tender issued by the people's Bank of China. After users open a digital RMB wallet in any operating organization (such as an online merchant bank, etc.) through the digital RMB App, they can use the wallet express payment feature to push to Alipay, where they can use digital RMB for consumption on the platforms and scenarios of Alipay services, such as Taobao, Shanghai bus, ele.me, Youbao, Tmall supermarket, Hema, Himalayas and so on.

According to reports, in order to facilitate users to use digital RMB, users can search "play with digital RMB" in Alipay App to learn about the skills. Users only need to open a digital RMB wallet and push it to Alipay, download and install the latest version of digital RMB App and open a digital RMB wallet, then click "Wallet Express payment Management-payment platform-Alipay", select the opened wallet to verify the wallet password and push successfully, after selecting physical goods on the latest version of Taobao App, you can choose the pushed digital RMB wallet at the cashier to pay.

CTOnews.com learned that prior to this, the digital RMB pilot project has been expanded from the original "10 yuan" pilot area to 15 provinces and cities, and the whitelist restrictions have been lifted in Shenzhen, Suzhou, Xiongan New area and Chengdu.
