According to the latest data released by South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, exports of environmentally friendly vehicles, including electric vehicles, reached a record high of US $1.49 billion in November, up 20.3% from a year earlier and the 23rd consecutive month of year-on-year growth.

South Korea exported 219489 cars in November, up 25% from a year earlier and a record high, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The value of exported cars was $5.4 billion, up 31% from a year earlier, the highest increase in the month.

In terms of exports, environmentally friendly cars accounted for 27.6% of South Korea's car exports in November.

With the increasing demand for environmentally friendly vehicles such as electric vehicles, the export volume of relevant South Korean manufacturers is also expected to continue to increase, when the export volume and the proportion of car exports will be even higher.
