As an important part of the Beijing-Kunming corridor of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway, the Chengdu Ziyi high-speed railway connects Chengdu, Neijiang, Zigong and Yibin, with a total length of about 260 kilometers and a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

Among them, Jinxiu Tunnel is a key control project of Chengziyi high-speed railway, which is located in Jinjiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, running from the south of Chengdu East Railway Station to the South third Ring Road, with a total length of 3655 meters, of which the shield tunnel is 2620 meters long, which is a single-hole and double-lane tunnel.

According to reports, the pattern of a giant panda with tender bamboo was painted on the knife plate of the shield machine, which was called "the cutest heavy weapon of a great power" by netizens. "Jinxiu", with a total length of 135m and a total weight of 3000 tons, has successfully completed the mission of Jinxiu tunnel excavation after 14 months of uninterrupted excavation.

CTOnews.com has learned that Chengdu East Station, Tianfu Station, Tianfu Airport Station, Ziyang West Station, Qiuxi Station, Weiyuan Station, Zigong Station, Dengguan Station, Daguan Station, Lingang Station and Yibin Station are set up on the Chengdu Ziyi high-speed railway, among which Chengdu East Station and Zigong Station are existing stations.

The railway department said that after the completion of the Cheng Ziyi high-speed railway, it will further improve the high-speed railway network in Sichuan Province, which will play a positive role in promoting the integrated development of southern Sichuan and western Chongqing and the construction of a shipping hub in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
