CTOnews.com, December 11, according to the official account of "Yangtze River Delta Railway", the Zhouwan Tunnel, the control project of the new Xuancheng-Jixi high-speed railway (referred to as "Xuanji high-speed railway"), has been successfully completed recently, marking the phased progress in the construction of Xuanji high-speed railway.

CTOnews.com learned that Xuanji high-speed railway is located in the mountains of southern Anhui, with a total length of 111.6 kilometers and a designed speed of 350km per hour. Xuancheng, Ningguo South and Jixi North three stations are set up along the line, of which Xuancheng and Jixi North are the existing passenger stations.

There are many mountains and mountains along the Xuanji high-speed rail project, and the geological conditions are complex. The bridge and tunnel Prida is 86.7%. The Zhouwan Tunnel, with a total length of 2550.77 meters and a maximum buried depth of about 199.2 meters, is located at the junction of Jialu Town and Hule Town in Ningguo City.

The railway department said that the Xuanji high-speed railway is an important part of the Jiangsu-Anhui-Jiangxi express railway corridor and the Wanjiang inter-city railway network, and is the backbone of the Yangtze River Delta inter-city rail transit network. After the completion and operation of the project, it will further improve the layout of the regional road network and shorten the space-time distance between Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi and other places, which is of great significance for developing tourism resources along the route, promoting the construction of international cultural tourism demonstration areas in southern Anhui, and promoting the coordinated development of regional economy.
