When a pilot enterprise applies for a network access permit for telecommunications equipment, in addition to special testing items such as network security, it may use its own inspection report instead of a third-party inspection report; it may, on the premise of making relevant commitments, be exempted from submitting application materials on the production capacity, technical strength and quality assurance system of the enterprise or its entrusted production enterprise.

The declaration conditions show that according to the needs of self-inspection and self-certification of telecommunications equipment access permit, and in accordance with the principles of active exploration, safety and safety, and selection of the best among the best, and comprehensively considering factors such as enterprise reputation, market scale, testing capability, technical strength, and so on, telecom equipment manufacturing enterprises are selected to carry out self-inspection and self-certification pilot work nationwide. In principle, the number of pilot enterprises of self-examination and self-certification in 2022 shall not exceed 5.

CTOnews.com learned that in terms of supervision and inspection, if the pilot qualification of self-examination and self-certification has been cancelled, it will not be allowed to apply again within three years.
