The pump rear pendulum series engine relies on the 120-ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine of the new generation carrier rocket to improve the engine performance, realizing the overall layout of only the pendulum thrust chamber for thrust vector control, so that the engine structure is compact and the lateral envelope is small. Under the same arrow diameter, the overall layout is compact, which greatly increases the thrust generated by the fixed arrow diameter of the rocket and increases the thrust of the rocket surface by nearly 80%. The research team innovated and applied a number of reliability growth achievements of 120-ton liquid oxygen kerosene engine, and the engine performance and reliability were significantly improved.
