CTOnews.com, Dec. 9-Apple is taking orders from HomePod mini in online stores in Finland, Norway and Sweden. The smart speaker is available in space gray, white, blue, orange and yellow and is expected to be delivered in 4-6 working days in each country.

Apple's HomePod mini is priced at 109 euros in Finland, 1249 Norwegian kroner in Norway, 1295 Norwegian kroner in Sweden and $99 in the United States.

Apple has previously announced that the HomePod mini will be available in these countries on December 13 and that orders can be placed in advance. HomePod mini will also be listed in South Africa on December 19 and in Denmark next year.

Apple first released HomePod mini smart speakers in the United States and some other countries in November 2020. With Siri, this smart speaker can be used to listen to music, control HomeKit smart home accessories, set timers, and other tasks. Apart from the new colors, the device has not made any hardware changes since it was launched two years ago.

In terms of sound quality, Apple said that the timbre of the HomePod mini is extremely rich and delicate, and the Apple S5 chip in HomePod mini works tacitly with advanced software to analyze the unique characteristics of music, using complex tuning models to optimize volume, adjust dynamic range, and control the activity of drive units and passive radiators in real time, thus enabling such a small design to play shocking sound. Apple has carefully built a full-frequency drive unit, which is driven by neodymium magnets and a pair of vibration cancellation passive radiators, which can present deep bass and crisp and pure treble.

HomePod mini and HomePod use the same acoustic principles to create excellent sound quality. HomePod mini has an Apple-designed acoustic waveguide that directs sound down to the bottom of the speaker and out, providing an immersive 360-degree audio experience. No matter where the user places it in the room, the sound effect is consistent.
