CTOnews.com, December 9 (Xinhua)-- as the 100th anniversary of the release of iOS 16 approaches, almost 70 percent of iOS-compatible devices have installed or upgraded the system, according to third-party analytics site Mixpanel.

Apple's iOS 16 was released to the public on September 12, 2022, and the initial iOS 16 upgrade deployment was faster than last year's iOS 15 update. Apple regularly shares its adoption figures for its latest operating system, but has not released data on iOS 16 this year.

According to the Mexpanel report, iOS 16 has been installed on 68.90% of devices, iOS 15 is 24.82%, and iPhone running the old operating system is about 7%.
