Mr. Ma Donghui has been appointed as an executive director and president of the Company with effect from 1 January 2023.

Ideal Automobile's new personnel appointment: chief engineer Ma Donghui will succeed Shen Yanan as President of ideal Automobile and join the board of directors, responsible for R & D and supply group as a whole. Xie Yan, senior vice president, will be the CTO of ideal Automobile, with full responsibility for the systems and computing group. Shen Yanan, executive director and president, resigned from the board and joined the ideal Automobile process change Committee. The supply team (including supply chain, manufacturing and quality) managed by Shen Yanan will be managed by President Ma Donghui, while the business team (including sales, service and charging network) will be directly managed by CEO Li. Ma Donghui, as the co-founder and chief engineer of ideal Automobile, was previously responsible for the product R & D group at ideal Automobile, with a team of nearly 4,000 people. covers styling design, vehicle electric, intelligent space, intelligent driving, computing architecture, R & D operations and other business modules.

Ma Donghui has more than 20 years of automotive research and development experience, and is responsible for the research and development of key core technologies such as "three electricity", smart space and intelligent driving, styling design, engineering and trial production in ideal cars, leading the successful development of ideal ONE for new energy smart cars from 0 to 1, and presiding over all the extended range and pure electric models under research. After becoming president, Ma Donghui will be responsible for product research and development, procurement and supply, manufacturing, quality and safety, and get through the whole link of product design to production and delivery.

Before joining ideal Automobile, Ma Donghui was the director of the Research Institute at Sany heavy Industry body Co., Ltd., from June 2011 to September 2015. Ma Donghui received a bachelor's degree in power engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 1999 and a master's degree in mechanical manufacturing and automation from Shanghai University in 2003.

Before joining ideal Automobile, Xie Yan served as Vice President of Software Engineering and Minister of OS at Huawei, responsible for the research and development of operating system technologies such as Hongmeng OS. Prior to that, he served as Chief architect and rotating General Manager of Alibaba AliOS business group from 2014 to 2019, responsible for the technical architecture design and R & D management of mobile operating systems. Worked at Intel from 2004 to 2010. Xie Yan received a bachelor's degree in information and electronic engineering from Zhejiang University in 2001 and a master's degree in computer engineering from the University of Delaware in 2003.

Based on Xie Yan's deep background in computer system technology, combined with the current opportunities and challenges of ideal Automobile in automobile intelligence, Xie Yan joined the core management team and served as CTO, leading the system research and development business.

Shen Yanan has been president of ideal Automobile since November 2015, responsible for the company's overall business strategy and business operations, with responsibilities covering sales, after-sales service, supply chain, manufacturing, quality and charging network. Before joining ideal Automobile, Shen Yanan served as Vice President of supply chain at Lenovo Group. Shen Yanan received a bachelor's degree in industry and foreign trade from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1999, a master's degree in logistics and supply chain management from the University of Edinburgh in 2000, and an advanced master's degree in business administration from China Europe International Business School in 2013.
