CTOnews.com, December 8, according to the Tonghang online report, Liaoning Ruixiang Tongfei Company successfully obtained an increase in the production license of RX1E-S type water electric aircraft on December 1, 2022 (serial number: PC0028A, the licensed models are RX1E type, RX1E-A type electric aircraft and RX1E-S type water electric aircraft).

Ruixiangtong submitted the application for production license (PC) and related materials to the Northeast Administration on April 22, 2021, and the review team of the Administration accepted and officially started the review of the project on April 24, 2022, and listed the additional review of the production license of RX1E-S water electric aircraft as one of the key review projects of the Northeast Administration in 2022.

According to Liaoning General Aviation Research Institute, RX1E-S is the world's first buoy two-seat water electric aircraft. On the basis of RX1E-A, it is developed by increasing the power of electric power system and replacing double buoy water take-off and landing device. The newly developed motor has high power, maximum power 80kW, carbon fiber three-blade propeller and a maximum speed of 2600 rpm, forming a high efficiency electric propulsion system. Double buoy support type water take-off and landing device with a displacement of 1.2 cubic meters. The buoy is made of all-carbon fiber composite, and the interior of the buoy is designed with multi-watertight compartment. the design scheme of the buoy with low water resistance coefficient is obtained through aerodynamic, hydrodynamic calculation and model hydrodynamic experiments. The bracket is made of water drop profile and aluminum pultrusion to minimize air resistance. Equipped with retractable rudder auxiliary control system to realize flexible turning in narrow waters and wharf berthing adjustment.

CTOnews.com learned that the RX1E-S two-seater water electric aircraft has the characteristics of zero emission, low noise, low operating cost, safety and reliability, and is especially suitable for operation in scenic spots and eco-tourism areas with rich water resources and high ecological protection standards. On December 31, 2021, the RX1E-S two-seat water electric aircraft successfully obtained the model certificate.
