Tencent and Dunhuang Research Institute jointly created the "Digital Dunhuang Open material Library" (click here to visit), today officially launched.

According to reports, this is also the world's first open platform for digital cultural heritage based on block chain, hoping to create a "one-stop" Dunhuang cultural sharing platform for scholars, cultural lovers and artistic creators to achieve the safe and efficient flow of cultural resources.

The material library contains--

21 kinds of murals: including flying apsaras, stories of Buddhist eastward spread, music, dance, sutra changing paintings, Buddhist stories, science and technology, folklore, patterns, animals, architecture, landscapes and so on.

Self-selected material whole mural: including a courtyard and six places.

Mural elements: image elements, decorative elements, scene elements and so on.

Art photography: including grotto location, cave shape, murals, painted sculptures, records, etc.

Dunhuang cultural creation material package: it contains all kinds of cultural creation content that have cooperated with the research institute in the past.

Tibetan Sutra Cave Literature: contains Tibetan Chinese and Tibetan Sutra Cave high-definition documents.

Tencent said it can now download it with a click of a mouse. And these materials are all on the block chain, each authorization, payment, download are timely deposit, there are "traces" to follow. Coupled with real-name authentication, you can easily track down to the downloader and determine the scope of use of each piece of material.

CTOnews.com learned that Tencent has also opened a "content co-creation" module to encourage users to play with new tricks on these thousand-year-old materials. Users can download the material, carry out secondary innovation, or "create more" on the basis of other people's second innovation, and then upload the works to the library, and then get the professional audit, certification and protection of the research institute. In the future, if others use your works in storage, you will still get a "dividend".
