CTOnews.com, December 8 (Xinhua)-- Tecno has released a new Tecno MegaBook S1 laptop, which is 13.5mm thick and weighs 1.35Kg (2.97lb). It is equipped with a 15.6-inch screen and is made of magnesium alloy.

The Tecno MegaBook S1 notebook's 15.6in display has a 3.2k resolution, an aspect ratio of 16:10, and supports 120Hz refresh rates and 100% sRGB. It has a brightness of 450 nits and provides a flicker-free DC dimming experience.

The Tecno MegaBook S1 notebook uses the Intel 12th generation core i7 chip (35W TDP) with dual fan cooling. For storage, choose 512GB and 1TB PCIe 4.0SSD, memory is 16GB (LPDDR5).

The Tecno MegaBook S1 notebook has a built-in 70Wh battery. In addition, there are two USB-A ports, a full-size HDMI port, a 3.5mm Jack and a MicroSD card reader.

CTOnews.com learned that the Tecno MegaBook S1 notebook is pre-installed to run the Windows 11 system, as well as some special features. For example, it supports NFC, supports quick pairing with Tecno phones, and uses the OneLeap function to view its screen on the laptop screen.

The Tecno MegaBook S1 notebook uses 6 speakers and adds support for DTS:X Ultra. There are two microphones on the fuselage, with AI-driven call noise cancellation function. The built-in webcam also has AI intelligence, which turns off the screen when someone is detected peeking.

Tecno MegaBook S1 notebooks will enter specific markets in two configurations-$1500 (about 10455 yuan) for 512GB storage and $1600 (11152 yuan) for 1TB storage.
