CTOnews.com, December 8 (Xinhua)-- Qualcomm announced at the 2022 Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii that Samsung will become a partner in the 2023-2024 Snapdragon e-sports Vanguard Competition (Snapdragon Pro Series), and the Galaxy series will be officially designated.

This marks another milestone in cooperation between the two companies. As part of this partnership, contestants at the Mobile Challenge and Mobile Masters will use Samsung's Galaxy range of smartphones, including North America, India, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.

CTOnews.com learned that Snapdragon e-sports Pioneer, jointly created by Qualcomm and ESLGaming, is a global integrated mobile e-sports ecosystem, holding tournaments in many countries and regions around the world, and setting up open trials, challenge promotion competitions, and elite invitational competitions. The first competition in the China Division, which spans 2022 to 2023, will feature the Snapdragon e-sports Vanguard National Challenge and the Snapdragon e-sports Vanguard Elite Invitational tournament, with a total bonus of 3 million yuan for four seasons. Events include "Arena of Valor", "Game for Peace", "League of Legends Mobile Games" and "Fifth Personality".

"We are committed to bringing high-performance Samsung Galaxy devices powered by Snapdragon to billions of gamers around the world to promote friendship and competition," said Stephanie Choi, executive vice president and global head of marketing at Samsung.

Although officials have not confirmed which Samsung Galaxy devices will be used in the Snapdragon e-sports Pioneer tournament, they should include next year's Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S24 the year after.
