Enping 15-1 Oilfield Group is located in China's Pearl River Estuary Basin, about 200 kilometers southwest of Shenzhen, where the average water depth is about 90 meters, the oil field group includes four new oilfields, planned to put into production, 48 production wells, this production two platforms, Enping 15-1, Enping 10-2 platform.

The 15-1 platform of CNOOC is designed, built, installed and operated independently by CNOOC. The total height of the platform is about 160 meters, the total weight is more than 30,000 tons, the single deck area is equivalent to 10 basketball courts, and nearly 600 sets of equipment and systems are installed, which is twice that of the conventional platform. it can realize many functions, such as drilling, workover, unmanned remote control, carbon dioxide reinjection and storage, independent power generation and power network, comprehensive treatment of oil, gas and water, etc.

The Enping 10-2 platform has been designed and built in accordance with unmanned standards from the beginning of the project, with the ability of remote logging, well killing and production recovery, and can be replaced with one button to realize remote monitoring and safe shutdown of offshore facilities on land. At the same time, due to the reduction of public systems, living buildings, drilling rigs and other large equipment, the project investment is reduced by about 280 million yuan, and the maintenance workload is reduced by 30%, which can save more than 10 million yuan in operation and maintenance costs every year.

Zhang Lin, production manager of China National Offshore Oil Enping Oilfield, said that the equipment captures and treats the carbon dioxide associated with the oil field, and then injects it back into the undersea strata for storage to achieve zero carbon dioxide emissions, filling in the gap in China's offshore carbon dioxide storage technology. It can accumulate nearly 1.5 million tons of carbon dioxide, and the emission reduction is equivalent to planting nearly 14 million trees or stopping nearly 1 million cars, which has important demonstration significance for the green development of offshore oilfields. The project achieves more than 95% independent research and development of equipment, expands the application prospect of domestic equipment in offshore platforms, and provides technical support for increasing reserves and production of offshore oil and gas resources in China.
