Beijing time on December 8 morning news, according to reports, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy (Andy Jassy) promoted four executives, three of whom are senior, one is relatively new.

Inside Amazon, there is a team of executives called Steam, four of whom will become new members of the team, and Steam determines Amazon's direction and investment priorities. The latest changes show that Jassy seems to want to continue optimizing services, logistics and equipment.

The profiles of the four new members are as follows:

Steve Boom is Amazon's vice president of music and has been with Amazon for more than a decade. Steve Boom, a lawyer turned tech entrepreneur, studied law at Harvard University and worked for several tech companies, including Yahoo!

Candi Castleberry is vice president of global diversity, equity, and inclusion, a position that became vacant last year and which Candi Castleberry dropped on Amazon. Candi Castleberry previously worked at Twitter in a position similar to Amazon.

Udit Madan served as Amazon's vice president of transportation, and Udit Madan joined Amazon as a software engineer in 2008 and has since been promoted.

Rob Williams, vice president of equipment, holds a degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo and joined Amazon in 2013.

"Each of them is an extraordinary leader who plays a role in key positions in the company and embodies our company's leadership principles every day," Jassy said in a statement. "

Jassy became Amazon's new CEO last year, and many executives have since left the Steam team. For example, Jeff Blackburn, Amazon's media chief, recently announced that he will retire from Amazon in early 2023.

The Steam team now has 27 members, including four female executives.
