According to foreign media reports, in addition to Dongjin Miken, which has been used in a mass production process line of Samsung Electronics, there are two companies in South Korea that are engaged in the research and development of EUV photoresist.

The two companies mentioned in foreign media reports are YOUNGCHANG Chemical and SK Materials, but the EUV photoresist developed by these two companies has not yet reached the level of reliability verification.

South Korean companies began experimenting with local supplies after South Korean semiconductor manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics tried to restructure the EUV photoresist supply chain in connection with Japanese export restrictions on key raw materials and equipment in 2019.

The products have entered a mass production process line of Samsung Electronics Dongjin Miken. It was after Samsung Electronics tried to reconstruct the EUV photoresist supply chain that they began the research and development of related products. The EUV photoresist developed by them was verified in Samsung Electronics's Huacheng Park for several months and passed the reliability verification at the end of last year.
