Next, the company will verify the new car through stringent quality inspection measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality and technologically advanced products to customers.

Since the construction of the new plant started in July 2021, Volkswagen Anhui has achieved first-class equipment and infrastructure construction in the MEB plant. Among them, the body workshop, which covers an area of 140000 square meters, is equipped with about 900 robots, making it the workshop with the highest automation rate among Volkswagen factories in China.

The body workshop uses "In-line measurement 2025" technology for the first time in Volkswagen Group. This technology can realize the on-line measurement of all body-in-white production lines, thus improving the efficiency and accuracy of the whole production process.

CTOnews.com learned that from January to October 2022, Hefei's new energy vehicles and intelligent network connection industry chain achieved a total output value of 93.103 billion yuan, an increase of 10.5 percent over the same period last year. From January to October, the annual output of new energy vehicles in Hefei was 157200, an increase of 91.75 percent over the same period last year, of which the monthly output exceeded 35000 in October, reaching 36399, and the annual output is expected to be 260000, an increase of 80 percent over the same period last year.
