CTOnews.com learned that according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, by the end of October, the total number of 5G base stations had reached 2.25 million, a net increase of 825000 over the end of last year, accounting for 20.9 percent of the total number of mobile base stations, accounting for 6.6 percent more than at the end of last year. 5G mobile phone users reached 524 million, a net increase of 169 million over the end of last year, accounting for 31.1% of mobile phone users.
