Pixel users who recently tried to open Wi-Fi in flight mode will pop up with the following system notification: "Wi-Fi is enabled in the current flight mode. If you want to keep Wi-Fi open, it will be enabled automatically the next time you enter flight mode."

CTOnews.com learned that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi were disabled by default when users first turned on the flight mode of their Android phones. Users can choose to turn it on to ensure that you continue to connect with smartwatches and headphones while in flight. Exit the flight mode while maintaining the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection, and the next time you enter, the automatic memory will remain on.

Another system-level hint will remind you of your choice the next time you turn on flight mode, and you can change it back to the default behavior by turning off Wi-Fi in flight mode.
