Codenamed "Upward" internally, the module will feature Intel's 11th generation processor, the first commercial upgrade since Surface Hub 2 went on sale.

Microsoft is planning to launch a new compute cartridge for Surface Hub 2 in 2023, codenamed "Upward," which will feature upgraded Intel 11th generation CPUs and Iris Xe graphics, according to people familiar with the matter. The Surface Hub 2S is currently equipped with Intel's 8th generation CPU.

There isn't a lot of other information about this computing bin at the moment, but one of the points consumers pay more attention to is whether it supports device rotation. After all, since the Surface Hub 2 was released in 2018, this promised feature has not been delivered. The code name "Upward" may suggest this change.
