CTOnews.com, December 7 (Xinhua)-- Warner Bros. Discovery will reintroduce HBO Max into Amazon's streaming platform, reversing last year's decision by HBO's former owner to reduce reliance on third-party platforms for subscribers, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Under the agreement between Amazon and Warner Bros. Discovery, HBO Max will be offered to consumers on Amazon's Prime Video Channels platform for $14.99 a month, the same price as other distribution platforms.

In addition, the agreement will be extended to an improved streaming service that Warner Bros. Discovery plans to launch next year, which will include HBO and Discovery content.

CTOnews.com learned that the parent company of HBO Max and Discovery+ announced the completion of the merger in April this year. Warner Bros. Discovery pointed out in the earnings call that the joint service of HBO Max and Discovery+ will be launched in the United States in the spring of 2023.
