CTOnews.com reported on December 6 that the first batch of mass production battery packages of Juwan Technical Research G11 project were successfully held in Juwan Technical Research Nansha Factory, marking a further breakthrough in Juwan XFC fast battery development.

G11 project is an important research and development project of Juwan technical research, including six R & D sub-projects with different electricity and charging rates, which can provide supporting mainframe factories with battery packs with different mileage and different charging rates.

In the field of XFC extreme speed charging, Juwan Technology Research has built the research and development capability for vehicle integrated power batteries, including cell design, material development, testing experiments, manufacturing technology, battery module design, battery package thermal management design, BMS software development capabilities, etc.

The first batch of off-line G11 battery packs have undergone strict EOL offline testing to ensure that the performance parameters of each battery are within the range of customer requirements, and the functions of the BMS battery management system operate normally. At the same time, the battery pack capacity and energy, DCR DC internal resistance and the national standard IP67 waterproof and dustproof standards are strictly tested to ensure that every battery pack handed over to customers goes through a strict quality inspection process to ensure the high standard delivery of thousands of products during the year.

CTOnews.com learned that Juwan XFC, the first generation of energy accumulator independently developed by Juwan Technical Research, has a maximum charging speed of 6 times that of ordinary batteries, with a maximum charging power of 480kW. Juwan XFC super-speed battery (3C rate) has been put into mass production and put on the market in GAC AION super-charge version; 6C-rate version of XFC super-speed battery has been released in GAC EA AION V Plus 70 super-fast recharge version.

Juwan Technical Research Co., Ltd. (Guangzhou Juwan Technical Research Co., Ltd.), founded in September 2020, is a high-tech private enterprise incubated by GAC GROUP. The company focuses on the research, production, sales and service of XFC (eXtreme Fast Charge) extremely fast rechargeable batteries and a new generation of breakthrough energy accumulators and their systems.

In October 2021, it was decided to invest in the construction of Juwan XFC fast battery industry base, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan and a production capacity of 8Gwh, which is scheduled to be completed and put into production in 2023.

Juwan Technology Research's battery pack factory in Nansha, Guangzhou has been fully put into production, with a capacity of 4-5Gwh, can meet the demand for about 60,000 electric vehicles, and is building a Guangzhou headquarters base with battery and battery pack production capacity.
