According to reports, the Chennai plant in India plans to complete the SKD assembly of 15000 ATTO 3 and 2000 new e6 in 2023 to meet the needs of the Indian market. At the same time, Indian factories are also actively exploring the improvement of production capacity to prepare for more sales in the Indian market.

In October this year, BYD held a brand conference in New Delhi, India, announced its official entry into the Indian passenger car market, and launched the first high-end pure electric SUV yuan PLUS (local name ATTO 3), which is also the first sports pure electric SUV in the Indian automobile industry.

CTOnews.com learned that the ATTO 3 launched in India is the first model in the Indian market to be equipped with e-platform 3.0, which follows the design language of Dragon Face 3.0. Zhang Jie, general manager of BYD India, previously said BYD plans to sell 15000 ATTO 3s in India in 2023.
