CTOnews.com reported on December 6 that a Meizu phone with the model meizu M2392 appeared on Geekbench yesterday. This new phone should be the new flagship of Meizu, or the "Meizu 20" series.

The Geekbench running score shows that the new Meizu machine has a single core running score of 1409, a multi-core running score of 4199, a super-large core frequency of 3.19GHz, equipped with 12GB memory and an Android 13 operating system.

The new Meizu phone, which appears on Geekbench, should be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. CTOnews.com learned that Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 uses the 4nm process and is a new 1 / 2 / 2 / 3 architecture, including a Cortex-X3-based Kryo super-core of 3.2GHz, four 2.8GHz performance cores (2 × Cortex A715 + 2 × Cortex A710) and three Cortex-A510 energy efficiency cores of 2.0GHz.

This is also basically consistent with the information previously exposed. In November, Meizu Technology said that the new flagship would be the first to carry Qualcomm's second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2), but did not disclose the name of the model. Meizu Technology said at that time that with the hardware performance of the second generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, Meizu's new flagship would also bring you a "multi-terminal, full-scene, immersive fusion experience" in the new era.

Earlier, Star Times announced in July that it had a controlling stake of 79.09 per cent of Meizu Technology and took separate control of Meizu Technology. Shen Ziyu, vice chairman of Star Times, who is also chairman of Meizu Technology, said Meizu would retain an independent team and launch a new flagship next year.
