CTOnews.com has learned that Nvidia has downgraded the RTX 4080 12GB to RTX 4070 Ti, which is expected to be released on CES early next year. The RTX 4070 model may be unveiled at the same time. The RTX 4070 Ti is expected to carry AD104-400s, the full-blooded version of the GPU, with 7680 CUDA. It is estimated that the size of the GPU is about 295sq mm, which is half the size of the flagship AD102 GPU and about 100mm smaller than the previous GA104 GPU. Not only does AD104 have fewer cores, but its 192-bit wide bus only supports memory configurations such as 6GB or 12GB.
