CTOnews.com, December 5 (Xinhua)-- BYD and Colombian dealer MOTORYSA recently officially launched a new ocean series of models, the pure electric sedan dolphin, and also unveiled at Columbia Fashion week.

CTOnews.com learned that the BYD dolphin is the first mass-produced model based on BYD e platform 3.0. it is equipped with a BYD blade battery with a battery capacity of 44.9kWhPowerNEDC with a pure electric mileage of up to 405km.

Officials say the dolphin is a "pure electric new species" created by BYD for a new generation of young users, using the design concept of "marine aesthetics". Dolphin shape is simple and fashionable, the interior lines are soft and beautiful, the personality is distinct, full of electrodynamics and sense of the future.

Since 2020, BYD has partnered with local dealer Motorysa to sell BYD's full range of new energy passenger cars in Colombia, including medium and large luxury flagship sedan Han EV, luxury pure electric SUV Tang EV, as well as high-end plug-in hybrid models such as Qin PLUS DM-i and Song PLUS DM-i. So far, BYD has delivered nearly 3000 new energy vehicles to Colombia.
