Among them, customers of closed test plants in Taiwan accelerate the elimination of inventory in the first half of next year, and look forward to a pick-up in demand in the second half of next year.

Taiwan media pointed out that the semiconductor closed test plant will continue to adjust its inventory in the first half of next year. Dong Hongsi, chief financial officer of Sunmoon Investment Control, estimates that automotive and Netcom applications will continue to be strong in the first quarter of next year, but the industrial inventory adjustment will continue until the first half of next year.

Observing the de-inventory trend of semiconductor closed test inventory, Zheng Shijie, chairman of Nanmao, a panel-driven chip and memory closed test factory, pointed out that there are two testing time points, one is after the Lunar New year in January next year, and the other is in the second half of next year. Wafer inventory, wafer factory growth rate, and PC demand can also be observed. As for when the boom will pick up, it depends on inventory correction.

Huang Shuike, general manager of the test interface factory, pointed out that the inventory of the semiconductor industry is high, and the market evaluation will not be significantly eliminated until the end of the second quarter of next year. The test interface is expected to see whether demand begins to pick up as soon as the first quarter of next year.

CTOnews.com learned that corporate analysts said that the inventory adjustment in the semiconductor industry will take longer than expected, mainly because manufacturers will not only have to face excessive inventory during the epidemic, but may also face an economic recession and affect demand in the coming year. The legal person estimates that the semiconductor inventory adjustment will continue into the second half of next year, rather than the completion of elimination in the first half of next year, as the market optimistically expects.
