According to reports, after many unguarded people agree to participate in the activity, the push staff will directly operate with the user's mobile phone and forward these "advertisements" containing fraudulent information such as part-time recruitment and brushing to a number of community life groups and family groups. after sending, the message is deleted immediately to prevent withdrawal.

The wide spread of these diversion advertisements will attract more potential victims who believe in part-time information. After they come into contact with fraudsters through links or QR codes shared in the group, they are induced to start brushing orders, do part-time tasks, and finally be deceived step by step.

CTOnews.com has learned that Wechat platform will impose step-by-step penalties on relevant accounts involved in the fraud depending on the degree of violation, including, but not limited to, the following means:

The confirmation of fraudulent accounts, the organization of fraudulent groups and malicious collection numbers are subject to functional restrictions and account blocking, and penalties will be increased for those who violate the rules for many times.
