CTOnews.com, December 4 (Xinhua)-- Volkswagen has released a preview draft of the new ID.3 and announced that the new car will be launched in the spring of 2023. Currently, pre-orders for the new ID.3 have been opened in Germany, including four models, starting at 43995 euros (322800 yuan), and delivery is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2023.

As a medium-term revamped model, the new ID.3 will be optimized in appearance, with a newly designed front bumper, a 10-inch central control screen upgraded to 12 inches, and LED headlights and taillights will be adjusted, while the new car interior will add environmentally friendly materials.

According to reports, the new ID.3 is equipped with the latest generation of software to improve system performance and be able to receive OTA wireless updates and support Plug & Charge charging.

In addition, the standard configuration has been upgraded: it now includes a 12-inch display, a removable suitcase floor and a center console with two cup holders.

CTOnews.com warned that the new models are overseas versions, and it is not clear how the new models of FAW-Volkswagen and SAIC-Volkswagen will be adjusted, but the 2023 SAIC-Volkswagen ID.3, ID.4 X and ID.6 X are already on the market, starting at 149888 yuan.
