According to CTOnews.com on December 4, Elon Musk confirmed that Apple has "completely resumed its advertising on Twitter." Later, he tweeted that he thanked advertisers for returning to Twitter.

It is worth mentioning that just last week, Musk publicly humiliated Apple "has basically stopped advertising on Twitter" and questioned whether the company hates "freedom of speech in the United States."

Apple has never confirmed or denied that it has stopped advertising on Twitter. There has never been any indication that the slowdown in advertising was due to Mr Musk's purchase of the Twitter rights.

Musk visited Apple Park on Wednesday and met with Tim Cook. The meeting seemed to go well, Musk pointed out. Cook said Apple never planned to remove the Twitter from its app store.

At tonight's Twitter Spaces event, Musk confirmed that Apple has once again stepped up its advertising efforts on Twitter. "Apple has fully restored its advertising on Twitter," Musk said. He added that Apple is the largest advertiser on Twitter.

A report by the Washington Post earlier this week noted that Apple "spent an estimated $131600 on advertising on Twitter between November 10 and November 16, down from $220800 between October 16 and October 22, the week before Musk bought Twitter."

Of course, Apple did not publicly disclose any of its advertising spending. We have no way of knowing whether the company stopped advertising on Twitter because of Elon Musk.

In addition, Musk did not say which other companies besides Apple are re-advertising on Twitter.
