This is the first on-orbit handover completed by a Chinese astronaut crew, and the Chinese space station has officially opened a long-term manned mode.

The Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew has completed all the scheduled tasks and will return today. The Dongfeng landing site and the participating systems are also ready to welcome the astronauts home.

This time, the Shenzhou-14 spacecraft returned at night, and based on the most difficult, complex, coldest, and darkest conditions, the Dongfeng landing site formulated a spacecraft tracking and measurement plan, a re-entry module search and recovery plan, and an on-site rescue plan for astronauts. They also continue to upgrade their technology, build an integrated search and guidance system for the sky and ground, raise all kinds of materials and equipment, including lighting and cold protection materials, and focus on training in dealing with extreme cases such as upside-down re-entry capsule, buried hatch, and cabin deformation to ensure the successful completion of this search and rescue recovery mission.

CTOnews.com learned that after the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft went into orbit, it successfully docked at the space station sky and the forward port of the core module at 05:42 on November 30, 2022, Beijing time. The whole docking process took about 6.5 hours. After the combination of the manned spacecraft and the space station successfully achieved autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking, the Shenzhou 15 astronauts entered the orbital module from the spacecraft's re-entry module. After completing all the preparations, 07:33 on November 30, 2022, Beijing time, the long-awaited Shenzhou 14 astronauts smoothly opened the "door" and warmly welcomed their relatives from afar to stay in the "Heavenly Palace." Subsequently, the two astronauts of "Victory rendezvous" took a group and left a space photo in the Chinese people's own "space homeland" that could be recorded in history.
