After more than a year of construction, it will begin to move into the first batch of equipment, which is scheduled to be put into operation in 2024.

According to foreign media reports, the first batch of equipment at TSMC's Arizona plant is expected to enter the plant on December 6, and TSMC will also hold an entry ceremony for this purpose.

In addition, foreign media also mentioned in the report that Apple CEO Cook, Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun and AMD CEO Su Zifeng are expected to attend the opening ceremony of the first batch of equipment at TSMC's Arizona plant on December 6.

Apple, Nvidia and AMD are all big customers of TSMC, especially Apple, which accounts for most of TSMC's advanced process capacity and contributes a lot of revenue to TSMC. Although Nvidia also has contract manufacturing cooperation with Samsung Electronics, it is reported that their new RTX40 series launched in September is still a cooperation with TSMC. Although AMD cannot obtain most of the production capacity of TSMC's most advanced process technology after it is put into production like Apple, TSMC's advanced process technology is also an important factor in their continuous progress in recent years.

For TSMC, Apple, AMD and Nvidia are big customers, and for the three companies, TSMC is an important partner, and it is not surprising that the CEO of the three companies attended the arrival ceremony of the first equipment at TSMC's Arizona plant.

It is worth noting that Apple, AMD and Nvidia are also likely to become customers of TSMC's Arizona plant. Apple CEO Cook said last month that they had decided to buy chips from a factory in Arizona, which he did not specify, but was widely believed to be TSMC.
