The Shenzhou 14 astronauts have completed all the scheduled tasks and will return to the Dongfeng landing site in the Shenzhou spacecraft on December 4. At present, the landing site and the participating systems are making preparations for the return of the astronauts. The Chinese space station has officially opened a long-term manned mode.

CTOnews.com learned that the Shenzhou 14 and Shenzhou 15 astronauts successfully conducted a "space rendezvous" at China's space station on November 30, and the two groups have now successfully handed over, which also means that the Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew is about to complete its six-month stay mission.

According to Xinhua News Agency, the Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew will return to the Dongfeng landing site recently. On the evening of December 1, the Shenzhou 14 search and rescue recovery mission organized the last system-wide integrated exercise. Dongfeng landing site has made various preparations for the return of the spacecraft. This will be the first time for China to welcome astronauts back in cold weather at night.

The Shenzhou-14 manned spacecraft was successfully launched on June 5 this year. Since then, three astronauts, Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe, have launched a six-month mission. The Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew completed its first extravehicular activity on September 2, carried out the second extravehicular activity on September 17, and completed the third extravehicular activity on November 17.
