CTOnews.com learned that in August this year, Geke released a single-chip 3200-megapixel CMOS image sensor, the GC32E1. The product uses Geke Micro's latest patented FPPI technology GalaxyCell 0.7 μ m process, combined with 4Cell Bayer architecture to achieve equivalent 1.4 μ m pixel performance, while supporting sHDR video recording, providing a mature high-pixel solution for high-end smartphone front-end needs. The product has been tested by the first batch of brand customers and is expected to be put into mass production by the end of 2022.

GC32E1 is Geke Micro's first image sensor based on the latest FPPI patented technology of 0.7 μ m pixels, supporting 3200 million full pixel output. With the Remosaic decoding function of mobile phone platform, the image effect of high resolution, rich details and bright colors can be achieved. In night, dark and other environments, support 4Cell synthesis equivalent 1.4 μ m 8 million pixel output, can take bright and clear photos.

In video applications, GC32E1 supports interlaced stagger HDR technology, which can output Full HD 60fps image data. Through the mobile phone platform, it can be combined into 30fps images that retain highlight color and low light details, increase the dynamic range by about 30%, expand the video shooting scene, and further enhance the experience.
