Coinbase Wallet's official Twitter account reported that app updates submitted to Apple had been rejected, and Apple asked developers to disable the ability to send NFT in the app. Apple said that the fee charged for transferring NFT assets must go through the in-app purchase system stipulated by App Store, from which Apple needs to take a 30% commission.

Coinbase Wallet does not agree with Apple's official reason that Apple's in-app purchase system does not include a cryptocurrency. CTOnews.com has learned that Apple's in-app purchase system does not support cryptocurrency settlement, so Coinbase Wallet believes that a 30% commission should not be charged.

Coinbase Wallet believes that Apple's obstruction makes it difficult for iPhone users to transfer NFT assets to other wallets or even give them to friends and family as gifts. Last month, Apple updated its App Store guidelines to set new rules for apps with NFTs. The new guidelines make it clear that third-party applications cannot "guide customers to use purchase mechanisms other than in-application purchases".
