CTOnews.com, December 2 (Xinhua)-- after releasing a preview version of Windows 11 Build 25252 on Monday, Microsoft released another KB5021855 update to Dev channel users today. After installation, the version number has been upgraded to Build 25252.1010. This update does not contain any new content, just to test the service pipeline.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft said in the announcement: "We are starting to launch the cumulative update Build 25252.1010 (KB5021855). This update does not include anything new, the main purpose is to test the service pipeline we have built in the Dev channel."

Interestingly, although there are no new changes in this build, service test builds like this have been known to break some functionality before they are built. For example, in previous versions of Windows, especially in Windows 10 Build 21292.1010, ARM PC upgrades broke x64 emulation capabilities.
