CTOnews.com, December 2, according to the November 2022 statistics released by market research firm Statcounter, the share of Microsoft Edge in desktop browsers has exceeded the 11% mark. Chromium-based Edge browsers currently account for 11.17%, an increase of 0.31% over the previous month. In the same period last year, the market share of Edge browsers was 9.52%, an increase of 1.65%.

CTOnews.com learned that Google Chrome remained at the top, firmly in first place with 66.13% (down 0.36%). Apple's Safari browser ranked third with 9.62% (up 0.26%), Firefox Firefox ranked fourth with 7.1% (up 0.05%) and Opera ranked fifth with 3.3% (down 0.29%).

The report shows that 0.77% of desktop users still use Internet Explorer. Some users still insist on using the former king of desktop browsers, but Microsoft is trying to recommend them to upgrade to Edge.
