The decline continued in November from a year earlier, which means that South Korea's semiconductor exports have continued to decline since August.

In August, South Korea's semiconductor exports fell again year-on-year after 26 months, to $10.78 billion, down 7.8% from $11.49 billion in September, although there was an increase from the previous month. However, it was still down 5.7% from a year earlier. In October, it fell sharply from a year earlier, with a drop of 17.4% to $9.23 billion.

Exports fell to $8.45 billion in November, meaning there is an increase in the chances that South Korea's semiconductor exports will fall below $130 billion this year. South Korean semiconductor exports totaled $102.5 billion in the first three quarters of this year, including $9.23 billion in October and $8.45 billion in November, with a total of $120.18 billion in the first 11 months, according to the Korea Trade Association.
