CTOnews.com learned that three-body is a full-length science fiction series created by Chinese writer Liu Cixin, formerly known as the Trilogy of the past of the Earth. The series includes three parts: "three-body", "three-body II: dark Forest" and "three-body III: eternal death".

From May to December 2006, Liu Cixin serialized the full-length science fiction novel "three-body" in Science Fiction World magazine, and published a single edition by Chongqing Publishing House in 2008. The second book of the series, the Dark Forest, was published in May 2008, and the third, Eternal death, was published in November 2010.
