CTOnews.com December 1, Microsoft yesterday pushed KB5020044 updates to Windows 11 Version 22H2 users, mainly fixing game-related problems. However, some users reported that BUG appeared again in the task manager after the update was installed. Microsoft quickly acknowledged the problem and added it to the "known issues" list.

Microsoft wrote in the update log that some Win11 users did not work properly after installing KB50200044 updates, and some visual elements may be displayed in unexpected colors, making it difficult for users to read the text.

CTOnews.com learned that this problem mainly affects users who use custom Windows color matching, and will not be affected if they use the system's default light or dark themes.

Microsoft said in its update log that users affected by this problem can visit the "Settings" > "personalization" page and change the "color" option to "dark" or "light" theme to solve the problem temporarily. Patches will be released later.
