The note points out that according to a series of national policies and plans for the development of new energy vehicles, the subsidy policy for the purchase of new energy vehicles will end on December 31, 2022, after which the licensed vehicle countries will no longer give subsidies (the existing subsidy: 12600 yuan per pure electric vehicle). At the same time, the prices of major raw materials for batteries have continued to rise sharply since the second half of the year.

GAC Ean said that affected by the above two main factors, Ean will raise the official guidance price of its related models, ranging from 3000 yuan to 8000 yuan, and the price adjustment notice for specific models will be issued separately. In addition, customers who have paid the production scheduling deposit before January 1, 2023 will not be affected by the price adjustment.

Sales data show that GAC Ian sold 30063 units in October 2022, up 149 per cent from January to October to 212384 units, up 134 per cent from a year earlier. CTOnews.com learned that GAC Ean is expected to disclose November sales figures today.
